Question Will 71+ Suburban xmember fit 70 truck?

Hey guys,

I know that 71+ truck xmember, disk brake assembly will fit my 70 C10 pickup, but I was wondering if the 71+ suburban stuff would fit also? There just seems to be a lot more suburban parts available. Thanks "saxmo"

It should, it is mostly all of the same stuff. I am pretty sure most Subs came with the heavy duty front brakes, which have 1.25" wide front rotors, vs. 1.00" wide for the standard brakes.

I can't tell you about front from 71 sub,but I took rear axles out of the 71 sub and they where identical in length to the ones in my 70.I will be switching disc brake front from 71 to my 70 or should say son's as Im giving it to him.Looking for good truck things this winter as just picked up binks paint booth used,1000. Always wanted to do our own painting,so it will be a trial and error winter.Good luck with your project and let me know how it goes.
