Question engine swap ?

hey all , i have a clean 83 gmc shortbed with an original 73,000 mile straight six in it. i am starting to get a few leaks and am going to pull the motor soon. not sure if i want to go thru the six or swap in a 350. other than the radiator , mounts and exhaust , what else would i have to change ? jim

The mounts are the same, you just need to move them to the "8" position, they are now in the "6" position of course. You may need a new fan shroud, and of course you will need the pullys, brackets, hoses, and all the accessories for the v8. Other than that, it is pretty much a direct swap to the v8.

Good luck and welcome to the board.
