Courtesy Light ??

My 70 Blazer lists a courtesy light code 4U29AA on the glovebox sticker. The only interior light I can find is a single socket under the dash on the driver's side. There is no o/head light or side light in my dbl wall top. Has my top been changed, or is this all I'm supposed to have? Also, the threaded inserts for shoulder harnesses are present in my top, so did 70 tops have these? Thanks for any info guys.

This is what the underdash lights look like. One socket for each side of the truck.

If I remember corectly the single wall tops had two lights in the top and the double walls had one. I am not sure if it was that way throughout the entire series or just in paticular years.

Yup, that's the underdash harness, one light per side. Don't know what that code is. Could it be for the light in the glove box? I think that was an option. My double wall doesn't have any lights. Thought only the single walls had a light. Hope others that are more familiar chime in! I need to know too.

My '71 double wall top Blazer has just the two under dash lights--one on each side. I thought only the single wall tops had integral lights (two).

Does your rig still have the equip. sticker inside the glovebox. If it does, what is your code for courtesy lights?

The courtesy light option, is the above pictured harness with two sockets that mount under the dash. This was usually on the CST upscale blazer/Jimmy--not on the base unit unless so designated on the glove box door build sheet.
The threaded bolt hole on the tops is normal, as shoulder belts were an option. In fact there was a 2wd blazer being parted out locally that had rear shoulder belts still there but not much else. And yes, it got away from me~~~.
