Flip Kit & New 4" lowering leaf springs
What effect would I have if I installed a flip kit and a new 4" drop leaf spring? I currently have the original 7 leaf setup and desire to drop 5" to complete a 3/5 drop. Oh yes, its a 78 C-10, 454 Silverado SWB.

If you do both the drop will be closer to 6. try the leafs first than measure. Add a shackel for the 5.

Just the flip kit alone is a 5" drop. You will have to do either one or the other unless you are looking for a 9" drop.

flip kits will give 5-6" of drop depending on how thick the leaf springs are. Add another 4" from the leafs and you are kissing ground

Thanks for the inputs, was just wondering. Saw a ebay auction for a Belltech flip kit with shock extenders and was thinking about bidding on it, but will pass. Will go with 4" drop spring and if needed, shackles.
