Whats GCW!?!?
On my Suburban's trailering Special badge, It says 13,000 GCW.No one is sure what it stands for.Gross Carrying Weight or something?If you know,let me know,ya know?

Gross Combined Weight. Meaning total weight of truck, trailer and all cargo.

so with a 7000GVW, i can pull another 6000 on a trailer with an new hitch cause mine claims only 2000lb max

A lot of people overload their vehicles simply because they do not understand what the Gross Combined Vehicle Rating is for. I used to even argue this one with the State Police when I had my hauling business, and they don't even understand it correctly.

Why then is the stock hitch say 2000 lbs max,200 lb tounge weight?

That's all the stock hitch is rated for. If you want higher capacity, you need to upgrade to a heavier-duty one.

if you look at the ratings on the recivers, you cannot tow more than 5000lbs without a weight distributing hitch. All receivers are not created equal.
