Big 5 lug to small 5 lug conversion.......................
Need some help guys. I have a 78 suburban with a 12 inch rotor and the big 5 lug bolt pattern. Now what I need is a rotor that will fit the suburbans spindle but that will have the small 5 lug pattern. Any of you guys ever done this before?

You might research a 1LE rotor from a camaro (IROC). They were 12" diameter & had the smaller 5x4.75 bolt pattern. You should be able to look up what wheel bearings they need & compare them to the truck P/N's.

the light, 1/2 ton, stripper type full size vans from the same era had the car bolt pattern, 5on4-3/4 , so the answer may be NEW in the parts stores if you find someone behind the counter who hasa little patience. DAVE

The 1LE camaro (88-92) brake disc will come with metric studs pressed in, but with the right bolt pattern (5x4.75"). The bearings 1LE rotors use are standard A3 and A6, which also fit B-body station wagons with 12" rotors, some early Mopar A-bodies with the "big" bolt pattern and a slew of other cars i've forgot.
