Speedometer cable
I just bought a new speedometer cable(and housing) from Advance Auto and see it's made in Tiawan and it looks pretty flimsy. Has anyone here used one and does it work ok? Hate to install it and find out it's a piece of S--T.

I also bought new speedometer cable and it is made Overseas. I haven't installed it yet, so I haven't had a chance to compared it to the original. The crimped ends aren't the greatest, but hopefully it'll work. I didn't check with the GM dealership. For some assurance, I bought some powdered graphite lubricate for the cable. We'll see how it goes ...
