What did you get done?
I worked this weekend so I couldn't get much done. I did spend Saturday morning getting a few things done before I hit the road. I cleaned my utility shed out and threw away 5-6 bags of trimmings. I keep all the pool supplies and floats in there and it was getting out of hand. Now it's nice and organized. That will last until my daughters friends from church show up tonight.
Beyond that I washed trucks and cleaned my garage a little. The rest of the weekend was spent on the road. What did you get done...

For once i got stuff done!! My cousin tinted my windows, i just gotta put my vent window handles back on. I also got my grille in, i just gotta polish it (when it stops raining). Housewise, i did my standard chores, ran the roads, random teenage B.S.

Spent all day today 6/5/05 replacing the drivers side ball joints on my K/10. Man that steering arm is a royal PITA to get off. I still have to do the pass side tomorrow and install 2 cat converters and get it reinspected. Fun fun fun...

I actually did something truck related. I replaced my broken exhaust manifold on the blazer and changed the plugs. I know, I know,... not much. First truck stuff in a long time for me. Also cleaned the wife's Avalanche and worked around the house.

Installed an A/C unit in the front garage
Cleaned up the garage a bit Made the weekend visit to the chassis shop to BS about cars and whatnot Finished up the final touches on my firewall filler panel, it's ready to attach and fill now Went to look at a car lift, then my brother bought it, have to go pick it up this week Changed plugs, ignition module, cap, rotor, and coil in the blazer to try to chase down an idle problem (still not working right) bought a new toolbox for work and put it together Helped a friend install control arm bushings in his car (I had a press, he didn't) I think that's about it...

I traded my Indy Hauler for a Wurlitzer Jukebox (much easier to store...). I completely rearranged a warehouse full of pinball machines and video games and made enough room to fit two cars in it.
After that, I drove a big truck back up here so I can move out of the shop I've been renting for three years. I'm looking for a place to buy and build a shop, but I need to get out of this one.

Nothing for my 74 . . ..... but for the 68 I degreased the power steering pump/brackets I bought last week from fellow board member 'wlarue'. I'm trying to get all the accessories ready for their professional rattle can job. I still have to make or find the trans c-member & then will install the 350/350 into the beater.
I also picked up the bedsides for my beater from S.O.S so they wouldn't be tripping over them anymore.

I had to work night shift this weekend so my days off starts today. I have an old Tram cb that I replaced the caps and tubes in awhile back so yesterday I let it run most of the day then peaked and tuned it. Today I'll paint my shop ceiling white.

Got the A/C swapped to 134 in the 85 K5, then the heater core started leaking , replaced rear drive shaft u-joints, then headed to the junkyard and picked up a dash bezel(for spare), heater control assembly for the 81K5, and a window regulator for the 70 C-10. Hit Advance autoparts on the way home and picked up 100 bucks worth of stuff. Replaced the fuel filter, wires and heater core on the 85 Saturday afternoon. Sunday cut grass and went to Star Wars movie. good fun. oh yeah, drank me some beeeeers...

friday nite I put a Performer RPM intake on a friend's '76 T.A. that was the easiest intake swap I have ever done! didn't have to pull the dist. or worry about gunk falling down into the lifter valley!
Sat went riding around with a friend in his newly aquired Ford stang SVT convertable. I'm not much on fords, but Dang that car is Suweet! and FAST! Sunday- played a round of golf (my newest bad habit)... installed a Barry Grant 220 fuel pump and the fuel cell I made at work last week, installed the new back window that came in from L.M.C, never did like the sliding rear window......
