I am using the North West Auto Fab mounts with my Chevelle shorty's by headman think the part number was 68600. I wanted a 1 5/8" to 3" that was all I could find. I really dont like the ball flange a regular 3 bolt and gasket style would have made the exhaust job a little easier. The mounts move the motor back to the 6 cyl position. Fit great if you are using a 700R you may find some clearance problems with the floor/firewall pinch weld. Just bend the pinch weld out towards the front and you should be fine.

That is pretty slick. The great thing about this is they do not look like they would be that tough to fabricate either.

I wonder if they will compensate for the heigth difference on small to big block applications. It is my understanding that the BB is taller(ie: my 1972 frame stands-& that 71 & back use a different frame stand and block mount as well), and that GM engineered the BB frame stands to be lower into the frame to solve clearance issues, etc.... I see 2 sets being needed! Use 1 typical block mount or solid aftermarket mount, and have the frame stands be lower for a BB...????

Well, they look a little trickier to fab when you see them out of the frame.
