rough ride?
ive had my 71 4x4 for over a year now, its a daily driver...
anyway im really getting tired of the rough ride. it has factory springs all around, and factory "heavy" front springs. i know what these trucks can ride like, my 69 3/4 ton 4x4 even rode smoother than the 71. is it the front springs doing this? im thinking about puting some new shocks on to see if it helps any ideas? how are the "soft ride? springs??? do the ride much better than stock? |

I replaced my front stock 3 leaf HD springs w/ 2" Tuff Country HD springs and it rides better than the stock springs on my GMC. Now the 6" Tuff Country springs on my Chevy are a different story but I beilieve I need better shocks.

Greasable bushings would make a difference too.
If getting new shocks won't cure it. |
