Roll Pan

i have a 78 gmc jimmy 2dr 2wd, and i looks ike ill have to chop off some of the frame to beable to fit a steel weldable roll pan on. what to do??
also i want to weld up the entire tailgate, and shave the tail gate put a license plate pox in it along with some l.e.d.s, what can i do about the window? i really would like it gone and have a window that i could put linear actuators on to just lift up and lower the window, think that would work?
