Ac line aluminum galled - Any fixes or need to replace
I have the line coming out my condenser that is aluminum and the line has a steel fitting. The aluminum is galled enogh that it is leaking. Are there any fiexs for this or do I have to spend the 200 for a replacement one. (I have just replaced with a new compressor, accumaltor, and o ring last weekend.)

depends
Most likely you will have to replace the condenser. This should be an o-ring fitting. Carefully remove the burr --clean with alcohol of your choice -- use epoxy or lab metal with a smooth finish. Let hardened thoroughly. If you have a hole clear thru thru line, find a friend with a TIG welder.
