I have an option code on a 76 C10 I recently purchased and was wondering what it meant:

ZV7 - Delete Freedom Feature

Any info is of course very much appreciated.

I did a quick google search, it seems that the Freedom relates to the first of the Delco maintenance free batteries (aka, no caps to pour water into for maintainance), prehaps your truck had that option deleted?

Maybe a random shot in the dark, but it does make sense
