I have a fan shroud that I don't know what application it will fit.
Can anyone tell me how to find the application via the part number 3892006?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks.

Do you know if it is off a truck? I can check my parts manuals up through 85 and try to find it's application.

I was told it fit a "70's" big block truck. I know that it is not 67 - 72 for sure, and does not fit my 76 bb C10. I suspect it may be for other bb trucks or mid 70's sbc trucks but not sure.

Thanks for any info.

Is it a one piece thin one? If so, then it should fit 73-80. I believe the 81+ trucks went to two-piece shrouds. LMC catalogs have some pretty good illustrations, maybe check there.

Pics help too.

Yup, checked the catalogs and it's hard to tell from the illustrations but looks like it fits the 73 and up sbc. It definitely is not the thin bb style which is what I have on my 76. It is a bit wider, one piece, and mounting holes are not recessed like the bb.

Thanks again to all.
