No Brakes!
For the last month or so, my brakes have stopped me 9 out of 10 times, but the last 2 days, they only work 5 out of 10 times. The pedal goes all the way to the floor. I use the E brake to stop, pump the brake pedal, then I/m good for another 5-10 stops, then it repeats. There is plenty of fluid in the master cylinder. It's about time I address this problem. I could use some advise/tips. Thanks

Re: No Brakes!
sounds like an internal master cyl leak
this is where the fluid leaks by the piston in the master cyl but not out to where u would loose any |

Re: No Brakes!
That sounds like what it is to me....try this: when you are stopped and in gear (if you have an automatic trans that is), does the brake pedal begin to fade and slowly go to the floor?? If so, you need to replace your master cylinder...this is exactly what happened to me in my '79 Sub 4x4. Good luck.
