Re: Suburbans'new mirrors
sorry for the rather large bump, but i want to do this on my 72 c10 and have a few questions. do the mirrors leak at all on the inside? i know they have gaskets, but it looks like yours are mounted right on that edge. also do the vent windows function the same? there's no interference with the mirrors right? and just wondering are the manual versions movable by hand because they have an adjuster that mounts on the inside but i don't think that'll match the width of my door so i might have to cut that off. thant's all for now, thanks.

Re: Suburbans'new mirrors
No they don;t leak and yes the vent works like it should,no interference. There is an arm on the power mirrors that needed cut off,to fit inside the door.I don't know about the manual ones.

Re: Suburbans'new mirrors
Funny I never saw that post and I put those mirrors on my 69 stepside. Though I was the first to use them on 67-72! Oh well. I love them. I cut off the support arm that goes inside the door and made some backing plates.

Re: Suburbans'new mirrors
i suppose they were an option, but for $149 repros, i see why they're rare.
