67 Jack & tools
Went to one of the local wrecking yards today and was poking around a 67 checking on the leftovers. I saw a dime behind the seat and folded it forward to grab it.... Hey free money! I found the jack handle still bolted down and in the and tucked way into the cab corner was a old gear driven jack. Also found a short lug wrench under the seat.
NO, I can't take any pics right now.... 'puter problems  Does anybody have a pic of one that I can compare it to? I want to know if this is worth anything. Thanks, |

That sounds like a score to me....I dont have the original jack in either of my trucks, but would like to see one all bolted in place.

I bought an original jack and handle for my truck, but I'm missing the mounting hardware. I think it's a neat thing to have in your truck, or evensell it to someone looking for one. I'd grab it!

I have a jack and handle but can't get pics until Monday. I found mine at a junkyard and don't know if I'll ever use it.

I was able to coax a couple of pics out of my soon-to-die desktop. Here it is, I just washed a little dust off. The top screws up to make it a little taller.
On one side of the jack it says: WALKER RACINE USA The other side says: PAT.RE.NO.16050 It also has the numbers "B333" on one side of the base foot webbing and the other side has a "G" So does anyone have an idea of the value? |

I don't know what that jack is from, but it's not a chevy pickup of this vintage. Here's one I found on ebay.

All I can say for sure is that the crank handle was fitted into the holder brackets in the truck like a glove.

My '67 GMC has something a bit different than that. What I have is a screw-type jack that ratchets. You stick the lug wrench in a hole on the side of it, and work it back and forth. The housing basically doesn't move, but the top and bottom screw out of the housing, lifting the truck. To lower, there is a key-looking thing on the side. You pull it out and give it 1/2 turn, and then it ratchets down. No need for a crank, just the lug wrench.
