getting back into the swing of things
It was about time to start back up on the roadster after a long 6 month hiatus, thanks to a busy hurricane season &%#@&*^%.
Sanded down the front of the dash, smoothed the top of the dash and did some more work on the windshield pillars and primed. It was hard getting back into working on it, my first vacation since last summer and I decided to work on the truck. Lets see how the rest of the week pans out. I need to make a parts run to Mothertruckers.

Re: getting back into the swing of things
awesome! you went to the trouble of dutting the dash for a radio, how about filling those old knob spots so it's smooth, they show in the end.

Re: getting back into the swing of things
Hey it's about time. Just kidding the progress looks good.
Remember how I was going to get the intake from you ? Well it eneded up being to big of a cam and a bad timing chain. Now I can get 9 mpg out of it with the new cam at least it runs good.

Re: getting back into the swing of things
They worked out really well. Besides the total of $180 Cdn with taxes and shipping. Thanks for the lead on them.
I love the fact that they are poly no motor twist exists.

I'd like to know too, my parents live in Bradenton. If I can get the truck running, I'd like to drive down!

Re: getting back into the swing of things
i've got another question. you've shaved the defrosts, and no a/c outlets, and it also appears the firewall is shaved (or masked off) where the heater box goes and the kickpanel vents are gone. are you going to be running anything for temperature control? probably not because roadsters have no roofs, but you have the heater control's hole still in the dash. what's going there?

Re: getting back into the swing of things
matthufham.
Its a top less roadster, no temprature control, no defrost or fan etc. The only thing I need is a mask and snorkel for the rainy days. It was a crazzy idea of mine followed by a dare from one of the members....I wont mention any names to protect the innocent for all the boys in the south who would like to go to the show............................see you there Bradenton Motorsports Park will host a Super Chevy Show on the weekend of February 10-11-12. The track is located at 21000 State Road 64, Bradenton, Florida 34212, just nine miles east of I-75 at Exit 220.
