Has anyone got 3" exhaust on their truck?
Are there any problems with putting 3" exhaust on these trucks? I'd like to see some pics if anyone has any.

I've got 3" exhaust on my truck. I have Summit full length headers, 3" pipe back to the mufllers *pipes are under the tranny crossmember*, and then they exit before the rear tires

Yeah, I'm running a 3 inch exhaust. It starts with Hedman hedders
that dump into two 2 1/2 pipes that go into a single Walker muffler then exit from 3 inch outlet to 3 inch pipe. Not a wimpy sound but not overly loud either.A nice truck rumble. The reason I used a single 3 inch pipe was that I already had it made up and was running it before I swapped to Vortec heads and it was still in excellent shape.Other wise I might have run dual 2 1/2 pipes all the way.Although exhaust man says my set up won't hurt nothing. |
