400 to 350 engine swap questions?
Hello there,
Can anyone tell me if there are anythings that I need to do differently when swaping out a Chevy 400 BBC to a 350 small block. The original motor also had a 400 tranny and now I am putting in a 350 tranny. Any suggestions. Thanks ![]() |

Re: 400 to 350 engine swap questions?
Bolt it directly in, engine will be 1'' deeper in the compartment than a factory 350 that's all. You can even use the big block cushions. But an advantage is you can use a serpentine belt setup with the big block shroud you already have. Keep the turbo 400 and you will not have to do any driveline modifications
