Question Stabilizer bar?



How do you know if you have a stabilizer bar problem? I have a Dana 60 on a 1-ton crew cab. It whobels after a bump at 35-45 mph.







New tires ,rims , & brakes.

Would duel shocks Fix it?

What you're experiencing is called the "death wobble." It is fairly common with Dana 60 front driving axles and is generally kingpin related. Do a search for "death wobble" and you should find quite a bit of info.

Dual shocks, steering stablizers, or other bandaids won't fix it. Dual steering stabilizers might mask it for awhile, but without fixing the problem you have a very dangerous situation.
