My Project
I'm jumping into a 69 C10, I figure it's a good way for my 15yo daughter to learn some mechanics before she gets her license. I don't plan on making a show truck, just a clean safe truck. I picked up a 76 chev for the suspension and disc brakes, and I'm still looking for a engine and trans donor. Hopefully a V6/4spd auto.

Re: My Project
Nice way to put her to work. Tell her to put something other than flip flops on while she's working on it.. LOL

Re: My Project
Good idea,it's good that a girl know a little more than where to put gas,and how to open a door.

Re: My Project
Nice start. Just leave the 3 on the tree and no one will be able to figure out how to move or take her truck. She has that excited look on her face with the work. She'll be way ahead oif the game in life learning about her truck.

Re: My Project
Nice looking truck you got there, it should be a fun for the both of you. It's always fun to have someone else to work with. I got kicked out of my automotives class once for wearing sandals in the shop. I was aloud using any tools in case I would drop them on my feet, so my teacher made me wash his car.

Re: My Project
She'll have more appreciation for her ride. Kids that have stuff handed to them take it for granted. That's an excellent idea. Good luck and have fun.
