Hello from Alabama
Hello....Not so new to the board but other than looking for a 1st gen K5 new to posting. Im Mark my wife is Cindy and our daughter is Katie Causey. We live in Montgomery, Alabama and work with my family in the greenhouse business. I drove a 89 k5 for a long time before its ultimate demise at the hands of my ever changing mind. It eventually got parted out to build a cab truck rock crawler which was parted out to build a full tube chassis rock crawler which is sitting in pieces in several select Alabama counties. After some semi-serious neck surgery
I have decided to retire from rock crawling......somebodys got to pay the bills. All that gets me to last week and my 15 year lust short term look and i snipe a pretty nice 72 k5 off ebay. So DJRacer and I went on a 3 day odyssey to Ohio and back to Montgomery late monday afternoon. |

Welcome to the board from West Tennessee. Hope you keep your new toy looking good for a long time. Might want to hang on to the old toy in case of a relapse

Re: Hello from Alabama
Nice looking K5 Mark! That color doesnt look as bad as Kevin was making it out to be...you still might want to consider a repaint. Keep us informed as to what you have planned for it. Oh, and thanks for helping us get the rearend out from under that frame before you guys made the Ohio adventure!
