Canadian EH?

Yep. Living here in calgary, alberta. I just purchased this

1971 GMC Longhorn 3/4 Ton
350 on propane
Mostly original, even the cigarette lighter works. Original wood bed, and EXHAUST....needs replacing (go figure)

I acually traded my jeep for this vehicle. This is my old jeep

Getting tired of that scene and been wanting one of these trucks for many years. This will be a long term project.

So I will keep the progress posted!

Randy Thayer

PS: Any info you can give me on these trucks would be great. Like what motor came priginally in these?

Re: Canadian EH?

Welcome to the board from South Mississippi! Looks like you definitely traded up. As far as original engines go, the 350 is a likely candidate, or 250 straight sixes were common. Many engines were available. Lots of info can be found by going to the FAQ Submissions page and looking at the links on the Index thread.
