carmine red color??

I have a totally rust free 83' gmc sierra classic. However it was repainted a bright red. It originally codes as carmine red. Does anyone have any photos of trucks of that era painted carmine red so i can see how different it is than the color i have now??? Thanks. Matt

Re: carmine red color??

I was hoping to see what gm's version of carmine red looke like during the early-mid 80's. I know roman red and honduras maroon changed at least 2-3 times during it's lifespan at gm.

Re: carmine red color??

Thats it!!!!! I love that color combo. I am in lust of that short bed with the 20's??? with the gold 77' trim that is lowered on this site!!!!!!!!! that is smooth,,,however i need a longbed to use as a truck still,,,better towing stability for me and a little more room in the bed.
