what are the differences between the two years? can the window regulators be made to interchange.

The window regulators are differnt. and 72 doors have an extra screw in the vent window

how do i know what year door i have?

72 has the screw below the wing window. And the 72, if original panels, are the ones with the molded arm rest area.
