i replaced the mc with a unit for power brakes i was using the one for the maunal brakes

My bad.... did not read entire thread. Sorry...

I still recommend trying a vacumn bleeder, as I had a friend help me bleed it manually three times, and still had no brakes, then when I did it once with a vacumn bleeder and all was good....
