Re: after 4 1/2 years....
Thanks to all who replied. I appreciate it. This has been a labor of love (and hate at times).
71swb4X4 - I'm about 30 miles NW of Ft Dodge. Geezer - Thanks, it's Corvette Bright Yellow (PPG Deltron DBC 2094) Boogie'67 - yes I eliminated the heater stuff on the firewall and installed theVintage Air Gen II Compac unit. Works great!! GSFMECH - I like the "Field of Dreams" thing. It was not intentional. My daughter suggested my corn field would be a good back ground for pics. The tranny is a Muncie M-20. My rear end is a 3.08 so it hopefully will be good for cruising. I have driven this only about 150 miles.

Here are a couple "before pics" which don't come close to showing the rust bucket this was.

Re: after 4 1/2 years....
Awesome work! Is that a later 69+ cab? The parking brake and gas pedal are the later style.

Re: after 4 1/2 years....
That looks great!!!!!
If any of you saw what all he had to replace you'd be amazed. Can't believe it's finally done! Also curious how you handled the foot park brake with the 67 fuse box in the way? Did you graft newer firewall or go painless wiring? Hope to get up to see that truck one of these days. That's one you can be proud to drive!!! What's Next??????????????????????????

Re: after 4 1/2 years....
Thanks again for all the replies.
wibilly - The seat is from an '88 or '89 Chev PU. The cover is leather with a little of the tweed from the other interior panels sewn in to give it a custom look. The seat cover was done by Phil's Upholstery of Fort Dodge, IA. Sweet 72 - It is a '67 cab. I converted to a foot pedal park brake cause I don't like the hand lever. The accelerator pedal is from a '74 Chev PU. Solver - Shannon, I was hoping you'd catch this thread. How are you? I used an EZ Wiring harness. I eliminated the factory fuse box location. It worked out pretty good. As far as what's next? - a 1937 "B" John Deere.

Re: after 4 1/2 years....
Great looking ride, nice reminder of the end goal.
What color yellow is that? Looks like a canary yellow color. If your were down here in the "insect belt" it would be very challenging to keep the bugs off if you drive around at night. Congratulations, Did you do the interior?
