Cool Newb from Western Kentucky

Hi,I'm new here I was looking for info.on 73-87.com and found this site.I have had a few trucks over the years,2 GMC's the rest have been Chevrolets.I am currently rebuilding an 84 SWB Custom Deluxe.I haven't done anything to it in some time but the itch is back and I've just about got all the parts I need.I just recently got a digital camera so the only pics of my trucks are glossy,I haven't had any luck taking a pic of a pic.I'm a Tool Maker and my employers are good enough to let me use the shop on my own time to build custom parts.Just wanted to say hi and tell y'all a little about myself,I'm gonna try to take some pics of my truck again might work this time. They are blurry but you can get an idea, the white one is my current truck.Scott

Re: Newb from Western Kentucky

One of my son-in-laws and daughter and grandson will be moving back to Lexington in October. He was transfered by Toyota to San Antonio, Texas to help open up the new Toyota truck plant there. Now they will be coming back and he will again be working at the Toyota plant there in Lexington. 84Custom, good luck with your truck. Keep us posted.

I've never had any business dealings with Mr.Ball, but I have been to his house.I've been married a few times and he is my second exwifes uncle. He is a very nice and down to earth man,his brother Jim is also a builder in Lexington.I figured you might have heard of him,his house and horse farm are unbelievable. They both grew up here in Henderson.I gave a friend of mine some old pics and he scanned them and e-mailed them to me,here are a few pics of my 84 and 4 previous trucks.
