Re: 24's are for wimps...
if you have to lift a vehicle to fit the rims under it they are too big. it might be cool if it was tuckin half the rim. i hate the "baller" scene that is coming around big rims and lambo doors doesn't make it cool.

Re: 24's are for wimps...
Good post, I just got home from Hot August Nights in Reno this past weekend, I saw a clean 68 Chevelle being towed buy a guy behind his Ford Expedition on 26's and then the bad part was it was the Chevelle was lifted on 26" rims, and it had all 8 TV's on even though it was on a trailer! Later I saw it stopped so we checked out the suspension, pretty scary and I know none of them upgrade the brakes........I wish I had some pics.

Re: 24's are for wimps...
With all that money they spent on wheels and tires they could have bought an SS body kit, cowl hood, headers, exhaust, performance chip and dropped it to the ground! At what size do you start losing performance in a tire?

Re: 24's are for wimps...
All it shows is that some asshole can piss away more money on tires/rims than 2/3 of this board has into their vehicles.

Re: 24's are for wimps...
On a similar (mis)scale, there's a black S-Blazer running around town with 24's or 26's on it. He had to have put a body lift on the thing to get enough clearance. Just think... it is highly unlikely either of these trucks will ever get washed out in a flash flood.
