4WD vs 2WD frame
Is there a difference between the frames on 4WD and 2WD trucks?
How easy is it to convert a 4WD truck to 2WD? Do the 4WD trucks have the same rear end and coil spring suspension and whatnot? Andy |

Re: 4WD vs 2WD frame
2wd trucks' frames get wider at the rear as the frame goes over the axle. the 4wd frame is almost straight front to back. converting a 4wd to 2wd is pretty straightforward. you bolt in the 2wd front cossmember and suspension. for the rear you can leave the leafs, just find some that are the correct height you want.
