Holley help...
I need some help with my holley 650 douple pumper with power valve protection. I had a really bad backfire and I saw gas leaking from the front of the carb where the power valve would be. It did stop leaking but I do not know if I still have to replace the power valve? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Holley help...
With the engine warmed up and at idle turn in the mixture needles (count the turns so you can get them back in the same place) all the way, if the engine dies the power valve is still good. Turn the needles back to where you started and you are good to go.

Re: Holley help...
If you engine is running normally the power valve is good. With the check valve protection you shouldn't have blown the power valve. Good Luck!
