Small Drop.
I have a 1972 C-10 Longbed and want to lower it slightly, basically enough to fill the wheel wells. I am using 235/75/15 on stock 35 year old suspension and have had all the parts blasted and will be painted. Can i just cut a coil out of each spring, buy new springs or what. I don't want to bag and change spindles and crap. I was thinking just enough to not make it look like a farm truck. Any suggestions, critisisms, or cursing out is welcome.

Re: Small Drop.
I cut off 1¼ coils from the front springs and got close to 3" drop. I bought new 4" rear drop springs from GMCPaul for about $95. This was cost effective for me!

Re: Small Drop.
changing spindles really isn't that hard. slightly less work than changing the springs. changing the springs in the back is cake.
