Electrical supplier?

Anybody know where to get those not-really-quick-disconnect wiring terminals? The ones with the tabs on the back to keep you from pulling them out of the terminal blocks.

I've tried all the local auto parts stores, McMaster-Carr, Radio Shack, LMC, Painless, and GM parts direct. No luck.

And yes, I'll eventually rewire the whole thing and be done with it, but for now I just want to replace a few bad wires.

Re: Electrical supplier?

The terminals themselves are available at Napa stores.. I bought a few 10 packs during my latest rewire job. I don't have the part number handy here at work but when I get home tonight I'll post it up if no one beats me to it. You need to go to a parts store where they still have catalogs and people that can read them.

I'd check napa as well, or local parts house...

Re: Electrical supplier?

I was wrong, CarQuest, not NAPA. P/N TA708 will get you a 5 pack of GM 56 series connectors.

Looks like he has a headlight switch in his hand, if that is what you are referring to.....

Re: Electrical supplier?

That's the headlight switch.

The Napa part number is 725147. If I'd known what those terminals were called, I could have gotten them the first time around. The parts guy knew what I was talking about, but couldn't find them in the books.
