droppin the 86, ? on spindles/springs
Planning on dropping my truck, I am just not sure what set up.
I'd like to go with belltech, they have always done me right on other rides I have had. Anyway, I'm looking for a 4-5/6 on my 86 silverado. Should I get the 3" BT spindles and a 1" drop spring, or a 2" spindle & 2" spring? I'll be getting some 20's for it before the drop, so I am not worried about the stock rims rubbing. Also gonna go with the rear flip kit. Any advice or ideas? |

If you're not worried about rubbing I'd go with the 3'' spindle. A one inch spring would probably require less shims at the alignment shop.

Consider DJM spindles, and go 3"

I would definitely go for the 3" Belltech spindles and the 1" spring. You will have a much better ride quality that way.
