Trucks all done!
Getting ready to go pick my truck up. Got new vortec heads/ roller rockers/Edlbrock air gap intake/ and Holley Avenger Off Road carb. Labor was $120 to take it apart and put it back together. Asked him if it ran better and he just smiled and said yes!

Sounds like a smokin deal, just $120 for labor? Eager to hear what kind of difference you feel.

Mudder,
Your truck is already so cool, can't wait to hear how the new mods work out. Great deal on that labor price too!

The way I read it : It says Vortec roller heads...stamped steel rockers. I think they say roller because Vortec engines have roller lifters. I think???????????
Can anyone add to this. |

Randy, you keep adding mods like this and I'll never catch-up with you. Slow down and give a brother a chance

Pont
You dont have anything to catch up with, with the sweet ride you have. Too bad you are so far away or we could get some really good photos together. (Not us, the trucks LOL). Estanley the roller rockers came with the rockers in another box. Guys, can tell a lot of difference and the carb isnt dialed in yet. Romps really good now. Its quiet a bit louder!!!!!!! Now just gotta get the flex fan off and get my electric one going.

LOL, I hear ya Randy, pics of the 67's would be cool, side by side, step and fleet. I still drool when I see your truck. Yours has been the biggest motivation for me to fix mine up. Maybe someday, I'll be proud enough to rank mine up with yours. Keep up the good work buddy.
