Re: 60-62 Fiberglass kit truck for a 88-90's body

yeah, thats pretty ugly.

I don't really like any of the retro kits, it just doesn't look right. I remember seeing one for a 90s t-bird made to look like a stude or something. The roof is angular, so it definitely didn't match the stude front end.

Re: 60-62 Fiberglass kit truck for a 88-90's body

they arent the only ones, it looks horrible witht the upper < line ending at the door and then the stock lower [ from then on. not to mention the eyebrow hood is um, bold?, a little much for a straight edge hardline truck.

Re: 60-62 Fiberglass kit truck for a 88-90's body

I agree... that kit looks pretty horrid.

I also have to agree with 19GMC63 that most retro kits just don't look right. I did see a Corvette at a car show this past summer that was pretty cool (IMO). The work done on this car was top notch which is probably why it looked so good.

Oh ya, those are super ugly. I saw one on a t-bird and it was hideous, and that one might even be worse.

If a company can spend money on that, they should spend it making repro hoods like that for the 60-66 crowd.

I can't understand this, when originals are so common and buildable.

There's nothing like the real thing.

Re: 60-62 Fiberglass kit truck for a 88-90's body

at least on the green one they TRIED and molded in a body line on the cab a nd door to match the < of the hood and fender. and the brought the lower body line on to the 66 fender. the roof lines look like hell and a half.

It just doesn't look right. Some things just need to be left alone.
