Re: under dash ac
I had one that was sold at JC Penny's in my truck when I bought it. I was told it worked, but it looked like crap and took up a lot of leg room. One of the first things I did was rip it all out.
There was a York compressor on the passenger side and an added pully on the crank to run it. There was also a seperate cooler mounted in front of the radiator and 2 hoses that ran into the cab. If your truck is an original A/C truck, I would stick to that and maybe just replace the broken parts. It looks a lot better and doesn't take up the sort of space as the under dash setup did. |
