help... lowering question.

hey guys i have a 69 swb c10. it has a leaf spring rear over the axle. i was wondering if anyone might know where i can get leaf springs that will lower it. its a 1/2 ton by the way. if anyone knows i would love to try and convert it to a trailing arm suspension but i dont know how hard that it. any info would be great.

Re: help... lowering question.

one thing i do on the newer trucks i lower is have the leaf springs re-arched. i can get the amount of drop i want cheap. i have also had them re-arched and a spring added on certain ones that needed to be dropped yet be able to haul. just a thought.

http://www.calvertracing.com/app/app.htm

They sell a flip kit (6" drop) as well as a traction bar set up. Alll the drag racers are running it. I am going to order a set in the next couple of weeks.

Re: help... lowering question.

how much are you looking to lower it that are quite a few dierant ways to achive what you are looking for some have ben mentiond above you can also change shakel lenth and either replace front hanger with aftermarket or relocate you factory one

you can get you springs done at some 4x4 shops or at exaust shops whoever is close by that uses a tubeing bender
