Halogen Wiring Harness Conversion

My 66 C10 when i bought it didn't have a headlight wiring harness in it, so i went looking for one at LMC truck, but i decided to upgrade to halogen lamps and buy the heavy duty harness. My problem is this. The original harness bulk connector is a two prong female connector loking like -| that. The harness that i bought has a male connector that looks like |_| that, 3 prong. Has anyone seen this or tried it before, or know what the third prong is for? Thanks....

Brad

Re: Halogen Wiring Harness Conversion

I run Hella E-codes in all my vehicles, and run a relay to power them.
It just too easy.
I run a relay on my cadillac horns that i have on the same cars.

Perfect for Soccer Moms on Cell Phones.

Sorry, I don't have an answer for your LMC Harness.

Re: Halogen Wiring Harness Conversion

The cool thing is that this one also includes relays and the harness draws power straight from the battery, so then the lights are nice and bright, i just can't figure out what to do with the plug.
