Do we drag some of those western Canadian boys & girls in on this? It does increase the distance someone is going to have to travel, but I think they'd have fun too.

I agree about the Canucks...bring'em along! We can use a least squares routine to find the geographic center of the mass of members and see where that places us! This will be fun...I'm getting out my map. Everyone needs to post their location in their signature.

get together
I would love to go. Hopefully my truck will be at least on the road by then, it's still under construction though and will probably only be in primer at the most. Let me know the details as soon as we get more info and I will put it on my calendar. Would definitely like to meet the other boardmembers and see their rides.
THANKS Lance, crazy4chevs

Stllookn, You know my location. Right next to your old flatbed!!LOL!!!
I don't care where it is as long as I can make it in 3 hours of driving from my house. Maybe us Northend guys could caravan down to the meeting if we are going down I-5.

caravans
Caravans can be fun and allow us to support each other heaven forbid anyone has truck troubles. I used to do this with VW's on the way to CA. Looks cool driving down hwy. with several same type vehicles. We could put togther a southern group headed north on I-5 too.

The caravan idea is fun. Quite afew years ago a bunch of us oranized a caravan of 55-57 chev's from Canada, Washington and Oregon. We ended up with over 300 cars and trucks. Everyone meet just outside of Centralia at a park on Sunday and had a blast. The north caravan ended up with over a 150 cars and a police escort thru Lewis county ( a county sheriff officer owned a 56 chev so he had some of his friends help with the escort ) just so everyone could stay together. What a sight. It would be awsome it we could pull off something like this.

I'd say if we were going to bring the cannucks along as well we should meet over at Lake Chelan. Just over the mountains from here and its beautifull in the summer plus its a lot closer for eastern Washingtonians and Idahoan's. It would bring a lot of guys down from the Okanagon as well and Lord knows theres a lot of members in the Okanagon region of BC.

I think we should stick to the I-5 corridor. Greater population, highways with lots of help incase a truck breaks, major passes for trucks to over-heat on and there are a lot of large parks that we can reserve shelters, etc. I would vote for something around Tacoma/Puyallup/Olympia. Where exactly is Spanaway?

Sounds great! It would be fun to meet board members in person and see the trucks up close...
Oh, and one more vote for Lake Chelan
