Rear cab mount points
Hello Everyone,
Have had this truck for about 15 years now as a work truck. Am working on the back cab corners right now and getting the rear cab mounts re-hooked up (guess they were never re-attached after the front cab mount fix of twleve years ago) Got a question, what would you recomend for lifting the cab to align for the shackle braket to lign up the the holes behind seat on the inside, just run a 2 x 4 across the bottom of cab and use a floor jack? What else should I be looking for wile I'm there? Thanks all! __________________

Welcome to the board from southern Mississippi. Yes, you could just lift the cab with a floor jack to get it up off the mount. If you really want it up and out of the way you could lift it with a engine lift/cherry picker to get it to really clear. IOf you need it just out of the way for a short bit to repair the mount, then I would probably do the floor jack thing.
