1975 GMC Rookie
Stumbled onto this site while 'googling'. I really like the friendly contact and the quality of content. I'm not much of a 'club' guy but thought the common denominator (trucks and those that love them) is a great glue to keep everyone connected. It's totally amazing how much more knowledge is available these days with a few keystrokes.
I have a restored 75 GMC longbed. 350/350TH w/ all options including cruise control. Added power windows. Just threw on some 20"'s (275/55's) and what a difference over the 15's in terms of road smoothness. My last 'big' part to complete the resto was a new HVAC dash panel (which are not made anymore). Just won a bid on ebay for a NIB original. Can't wait to put it in. I took some pics to post. First I had to figure out the digital camera and now I need to figure out to how to download into the computer. I'll get it done at some point. Until then, may all your skies be blue..................lox |

Re: 1975 GMC Rookie
Wow, way to make an appearance here! Truck looks awesome, but what's up with the headlights - they look like they have some chrome tint or something, how did ya do that?

Re: 1975 GMC Rookie
Please, do so! But how do these covers attach, they look like they're held by the trim rings which can't be the case cause it's really impractical...
