1967 Firewall hole identification
I am preparing to have the metal work done to my cab (finally).
I am going smooth. I have already purchased the 3 pieces to block off the heater openings. I assume the smaller holes around those can be welded up as well. I'm looking for some ID on the remaining holes across the firewall so I know what can go and what needs to stay. I will run a factory steering column setup with an automatic transmission. Probably mounted on the steering column. I will run a vintage AC setup. Thanks Guys ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: 1967 Firewall hole identification
I did the same on mine. I just cut my own patches though. I probably welded up some small holes that were needed in the center area for the ground straps, but I can always add them later

Re: 1967 Firewall hole identification
Here is how everything is used as with my 67 cab. Note the holes on the right are placed differently than in later years.

Re: 1967 Firewall hole identification
Just credit where credit is due, I think the hole map came from Musclecar Restorations. I should have watermarked it when I shared it, but I can't find another copy online, so I do think it was their original.
