Re: If u do it over ???

Over again, or just again, because I prefer again, and again......

I love my 59, but next truck will be a 67-72.

Starting a 69 GMC, but I really want to make it a hauling wood and going to the dump type truck.

I would do an Advanced Design Panel Truck or Suburban, or 1938-1940’s Chevy, Studebaker or Ford pickup.

I'm rather attached to my rides, so I'll do another when my son's old enough. I don't regret anything on any of my bow ties.

a 67-72 pick up or
a 60-66 pick up
or if I can convince my wife, a Chevy rat rod/roadster truck Probably the best choice for a 1st build together.

Re: If u do it over ???

I found a real orginal 53 with no rust so I guess I will start with another chassis and do all the mods and upgrades to it only this one will be a 700R and power brakes with the Dakota IFS . That way I can see and feel the difference in the Mll and Dodge IFS

Re: If u do it over ???

HAHA I would have kept the jeep i built from when I was 16-19, and then bought the 49 GMC, and not meesed around with the bull**** cars between and probably would have had 2 badass trucks I enjoyed driving instead of none

Re: If u do it over ???

Hard to say but probably would do something late model. I saw a picture of a Suburban on bags that we pretty cool. But the ultimate would be forget building something just get the new Vette that I have been wanting....just waiting on the kids to move out...lol.

I've wanted a Vette sice I was a young boy and I saw one from the back window of my mom's 1960 Chevy Nomad wagon. So your right, dreaming is what keeps us older guys young forever!
