picked up a new to me truck

since i mostly post in the 67-72 area...thought i should spread it out a little picked up this 78 SWB chevy last night. I couldn't pass it up..$800.00...especially since these are getting hard to find for less than $3000.00 for a shortbed. I won't start it for a while, but i least i have it now and can plan accordingly. I even drove it home..runs alright...has a 350/turbo 400 in it, but that will change also

Nice truck! And $800 is a freakin steal, I paid $500 for mine with an engine with wiped out bearings and crank, and around here that's still considered a good deal. You gonna keep it like that, or you gonna lower it? IMHO keep it as is, right now it's got that mean pro-street looks to it, and considering the weight of these trucks all you really need are a high-revv 350 and some suspension goodies and you got yerself a Mustang/Camaro killer
