Newb from Ohio
Just bought a 61 Apache. This is my first V8 powered anything. I'm in the Marines and just came back from a 3 year tour in Okinawa, Japan. I strained 450rwhp out of a turbo 4-cylinder there and ended up bringing the engine and some extras back with me. While looking for a Nissan 240 to start building on, I stumbled on this flat green 61. I've always wanted something like this and for $2500 I couldn't pass it up.
It's got a 307 and a 3-speed right now, mostly stock. Plans are a 350 and a new tranny later. Once the running gear is squared away then I'll start on the body. I'll take some more pictures later when work eases up for me. Last edited by Daniel 61 Apache; 05-10-2007 at 11:50 PM. |
