Wiring Harness
do you have to have a wiring harness to wire in a deck into a 72 GMC? and if i do need a wiring harness where the hell do i find one.

I don't think a wiring harness for the 67-72 style trucks is available. I know some one will correct me, but I believe the radio only had a mono set up. I don't think "stereo" sound was available during the late 60's early 70's.

If you buy a new CD deck it should come with a new wiring harness that has all the wires labelled to where they need to hook up to. If not, sometimes you can find one on E-Bay or at a stereo dealer.
