Just to be different, and to find out about the group, I thought I'd check out the poll feature...

My truck is not really on your list. Not a show truck, but nice. Not a race truck, but a fast street truck. Not restored, but modded out the arse. Not a daily driver for sure. I guess the closest would be in the process.

Well, the 78 is a race/ some slight cruising on weekends truck ALWAYS in the process of becoming faster.
The 79 is in the process of being built up to acceptable daily driver status [almost there! New vortec 350, new 2004R tranny, new every type of pump, new suspension, new big arse KICKER sterio, only a few more things to go! ]

75 stepside:
I can't believe how much effort you've put into the restoration of your truck. It looks incredible!!
Just thought youd like to know that your original cab would still fetch a decent amount of $$ in Canada. Due to the huge amunts of salt we dump on the roads in Ontario at least, the vehicles tend to rust a lot and very quickly.

Keep up the great work, I'll be checking your site often!

Yet another in the process I guess. Right now assembling parts so when (if) it warms up here I can start redoing the interior, and put some of that POR 15 I just got to use on the cab floor and frame. Not really a daily driver, although it does see limited winter use. Just put in a 1000 CCA battery in the old girl and the weather actually got above freezing today. Coincidence????

Why? It was a trick question

MIne is a daily driver and probably always will be. Nothing special but I want it to look good and dependable. Defintely in the process of being restored to where it needs to be with some goodies Like others said after X-mas hopefully with more goodies to mention.

In the process, Summer Daily Driver Special to me.

It will be on the road by May or June and be an on going project after that.. I Will chop the top when I get the info on this subject...

It don't have to get me there first it just has to get me there.

It will be slammed down shaved smoothed and wild Flames over the Black paint job and LOUD LOUD dual exhausts real ones that wake the dead and Scare the living... Cherry Bomb mufflers & straight pipes.

Cruise nights , fun shows and I would like it to be good enough to take to Bothwell in August that is the biggest show around this part of the Province 1500 + Cars and Trucks last year.

Loud is ok unless you drive an import, I'm fighting 3 noise violations right now for my CRX. They get thrown out, it's just a PITA!!

Well,

I bought my truck new so its un-restored & some what of a show truck but the paint job is a 50 footer meaning it looks good untill you get close enough to see all the scratches and it's fast but not a race truck but i beat up on jap crap if the conditions are right and it's not driven on a daily basis hell im lucky if i get to drive her once every 3,4,5, months and it's a never ending process

Some day im gonna restore her to the level as 75stepside only better sorry 75 nothing personal your doing a fine job with your's
