Anybody have a spare I could buy? Hows $5 CDN

I said a long time ago that windshield washer jugs should just drop into a sleeve or holder of some kind, and then you pop the top off and pop on the washer head and you are good to go no fuss no mess no spillage.

How much talent would it take to design a washer bottle that would fit all vehicles, just standardize them.

The jugs are pretty well all the same design now.
Just make them to fit .

That's my 4 cents worth Canadian
Must be close to 2 cents worth U.S.

Sounds like a good, easy idea to me. However, we all know that car manufacturers count on that money coming in from their parts and service counters. If there was some universal washer jug, then they would lose that money. And of course, they can't have that!!!

Have you checked the dealer? I looked for over a year for a radiator overflow bottle in the junkyards. I never could find one. While at the dealer looking for something else, I asked about the price of the bottle. It was only $15. I was really surprised by how cheap it was. I would have bought one a year ago if I had known.

I'd drill a hole in a cap and put the cap on with the hose running thru it, so if it comes loose, all of the fluid is not lost.

I used a washer jar and pump from an '80s something Cavalier. Attached it inplace of the old washer jar with a couple of "L" brakets that I got from Home Cheapo1 Works good1

another consideration is the real estate needed for a gallon jug. its not a problem in our trucks but in most new vehicles there is little to no space in the engine compartment. my toyota tacoma, when I fill the washer bottle you cant even see where the stuff goes. but it holds exactly a gallon, so theres a start
